President of Malawi Dr Joyce Banda visits the SCOAN

President of the Republic of Malawi Dr Joyce Banda visited the Synagogue Church of All Nations today. She was in the live Sunday Service in the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos. She came along with Retired Chief Justice, Richard Banda, other family members and their entourage. She got a special welcome from the prophet of God Prophet T.B Joshua "we welcome you, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ". She's a an example of a good leader who has inspired the South African region. She drew a lot of inspiration from Nelson Mandela the late South Africa president. I pray our Nigerian leaders draw example from leaders like the president of Malawi a great woman who has shown the virtue of a good leader.

Professional Opera Singer Kimmy Skota of SA gets delivered in the SCOAN

Professional Opera Singer Kimmy Skota from South Africa got delivered through the anointing water. This happened in the Anointing Water service of SCOAN (Synagogue Church of All Nations) in the United Kingdom. She was facing several challenges before she went to the Anointing Water Service in the UK. She was having nightmares and also facing challenges of tension when ever you wants to perform which was bad for her career. This was almost running her career down until she came to the Anointing Water Service in the UK where she was delivered by one of the envangelists through the anointing water. She just finished giving her testimony in the SCOAN Sunday Service in SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria. It's indeed worthy thing to thank God for her life. God is still saying something.

The True Reason why D'banj cancelled Koko Concert 2013 by D-Sam Igho

Many music / celebrity gossip people have linked the cancellation of D'banj's Koko concert for 2013 due to a concert that was held in respect of Mandela the former South African president. Later on, it was ascertained that the concert which was a one day concert put together for Mandela wasn't the reason behind the cancellation of the Koko concert but was due to D'banj's inability to fund the concert owing to the large amount of money he spent for the previous in 2012. Many have come to the conclusion that D'banj is broke and he's in dying need of a sponsor or he would do away with the concert this year which he did. It's alleged that his management ascertained to it that D'banj is broke. Is D'banj really broke? Can he actually call off a big concert like that because of a concert to be held for one day? The answer here is NO. A BIG NO at that. I like to unveil to you the true reason why D'banj cancelled the Koko. Do you still remember that D'banj released his compilation album DKM which wasn't well accepted by most of the Nigerian populace? Only few tracks from the DKM album enjoyed airplay from various radio and tv stations across Nigeria. The album is so below the Nigerian standard that D'banj could not even perform most of the songs in the album at various music concerts he headlined this year but instead he kept performing his old songs from his past albums. D'banj knows that he doesn't have songs that can gear support from fans here and he also knows that he can't keep recycling his old songs for the fans to listen. I don't even think fans would troop in like last year's Koko concert because last year was a floss where he recycled his old songs. He knows there's no room for that this year and he would wreck his music prowess in Nigeria the more if he attempt it. D'banj cancelled this year's Koko concert because he doesn't have good songs to perform to the Nigerian public who did not accept his DKM album like his previous albums. I hope he tries to correct it in 2014 by releasing an album which would be widely accepted by the Nigeria public.

Alive but not Living Life

Alive but not living life. Is it anyway possible? Yes, it's a possibility which can be seen and observed in the lifes of many. Been alive is different from living life. One can be alive which means breathing but not living this life. Not living life is like been stagnant even though one has the physical ability to forge ahead in life. It's like not having the mental ability to to forge on. It's like seeing only impossibilities. This state can be very traumatic that it can lead to depression and on mental disorders. One can overcome this by getting up from whatever is causing us not to live life. Getting up from whatever blockage that's restricting us through strong determination. It just takes that will. Do you just wanna be alive? Or you wanna live life? You can be alive but not living life.

Nigerian Christians: Majority of them only preach church

Majority of Nigerian christians only preach church? Yes it's true. Haven been in their circle since my birth, that's one thing I've learnt from them. Nigerian christians have turned the bible around for their own selfish favors. Many of the pastors and men of whatever only know how to preach for people to contest to their churches. Their members have taken such attitude from them. They don't preach the true doctrine of Jesus Christ our saviour who came to redeem us from the shackle of satan. Jesus came to preach and spread love to the whole world. That's why he died for mankind. It's pitiable that most Nigerian christians only know how to preach doctrines that propagand their various places of worship. That's their main aim of preaching and objective of their preaching. This definitely has affected and is still affecting Chritiandom in general here. This has brought hatred in churches all over Nigeria. Churches in Nigeria don't cooperate but the bible said that we're one in His vineyard. The churches in Nigeria would continue to disagree until we start preach LOVE and not church. Majority of Nigerian christians only preach church? What do you think?

The Decision We Can't Make

Down with an illness no man on earth which to have till his or her demise, I've been having this lingering thought for a long time now. It's about a choice I believe most humans on earth which to make how which it's ever possible. What if it were possible for humans to choose their parents before coming to this world of uncertainty? Wouldn't it have been fair for humans to make a choice for whom they'll pass through when coming into this earth? I think it would have been fair and I believe it would have made this world a better place for mankind. I would have made a better choice of parenting if it were possible. I know some people would choose to remain with theirs if this can be decided in another life but I wouldn't. This is the decision mankind can't make and it's not fair.

'Dear Daddy, You Don't Own Nigeria'. Iyabo's letter to Obasanjo

There has been numerous debates and arguments denying that Obasanjo's daughter didn't write this letter but probably used by his political fighters and opposition to hit him back after he wrote the former 11 page letter to Goodluck Jonathan. Whether Obasanjo's daughter wrote this letter or not, there're still many gullible reasons for Nigerians to listen and not just listen but act on this letter written to by Obasanjo's daughter to Obasanjo. The letter: “It brings me no joy to have to write this but since you started this trend of open letters I thought I would follow suit since you don’t listen to anyone anyway. The only way to reach you may be to make the public aware of some things. As a child well brought up by my long-suffering mother in Yoruba tradition, I have been reluctant to tell the truth about you but as it seems you still continue to delude yourself about the kind of person you are and I think for posterity’s sake it is time to set the records straight. “I will return to the issue of my long-suffering mother later in this letter. “Like most Nigerians, I believe there are very enormous issues currently plaguing the country but I was surely surprised that you will be the one to publish such a treatise. I remember clearly as if it was yesterday the day I came over to Abuja from Abeokuta when I was Commissioner of Health in OgunState, specifically to ask you not to continue to pursue the third term issue. “I had tried to bring it up when your sycophantic aides were present and they brushed my comments aside and as usual you listened to their self-serving counsel. For you to accuse someone else of what you so obviously practiced yourself tells of your narcissistic megalomaniac personality. Everyone around for even a few minutes knows that the only thing you respond to is praise and worship of you. People have learnt how to manipulate you by giving you what you crave. The only ones that can’t and will not stroke your ego are family members who you universally treat like shit (sic) apart from the few who have learned to manipulate you like others. “Before I continue, Nigerians are people who see conspiracy and self-service in everything because I think they believe everyone is like them. This letter is not in support of President Jonathan or APC or any other group or person, but an outpouring from my soul to God. I don’t blame you for the many atrocities you have been able to get away with, Nigerians were your enablers every step of the way. People ultimately get leaders that reflect them. “Getting back to the story, I made sure your aides were not around and brought up the issue, trying to deliver the presentation of the issue as I had practiced it in my head. I started with the fact that we copied the US constitution which has term limits of two terms for a President. As is your usual manner, you didn’t allow me to finish my thought process and listen to my point of view. Once I broached the subject you sat up and said that the US had no term limits in the past but that it had been introduced in the 1940s after the death of President Roosevelt, which is true. The Low Rave towards Christmas in Nigeria in 2013

I believe many Nigerians especially the masses has noticed this. The rave towards Christmas is very low key. Years back, when christmas is approaching, many people who are christians troop to the market to buy food stuffs and other material stuffs. The market was a good ground to view how people are getting set for christmas. Even in the streets where most masses reside, people bought all sought of food stuffs like big cocks (chicken), clothing for children and other essentials for christmas. What's the main cause or reason behind this low rave for the christmas? Is it due to the economic financial meltdown? Or is it due to the militant crisis like that of the Boko Haram insurgency or the inability of the Nigerian government to provide or to meet up with certain requirements this year e.g ASUU strike, strike warning by doctors etc and etc? Me as a person, am not really moved as the christmas is fast approaching. The major factors that have contributed to this are the things I earlier listed. I deeply feel like it's my own pain. I try to put myself in the shoes of those who has fallen into the hands of these Boko Haram insurgents even as I don't have enough cash at hand now. Are people excited as the christmas is fast approaching? How is the rave towards christmas like in your area?

Fans Blast Kim Kardashian For Waxing Baby North West’s Eyebrows

Last Monday, Kim Kardashian posted this adorable photo of smiling baby North West on Instagram. The cutest picture to date of her and Kanye's daughter. Unfortunately, while thousands were commenting on the North's cheery and smiling demeanour, others pointed out the little girl's perfect brows - with some even suggesting that Kim's baby Nori hasalready made her first trip to the beauty salon due to her perfect eye brows. So, they lashed out at Kim for being so vain. "Eyebrows done already?" one user wrote under the pic. “I've never seen a baby with arched even eyebrows. Her unibrow was cute, why get rid of it?" another concerned fan commented. While Kardashian has selectively shared photos of North since her birth, critics claimed there is a clear difference in her current appearance versus last month's snapshots. Taking to Twitter to defend her six-month-old’s appearance, Kim branded the people making the claims as ‘pretty sick’. She wrote: Do people really think I would wax my daughters eyebrows so young? Come on, I'd wait until she's at least 2 1/2! I'm kidding!!! Its pretty sick for people to insinuate that I would wax my daughters eyebrows. They are thick, natural and amazing!’

What Is the X in Xmas?

Here’s a holiday surprise that only the dictionary can provide. Do you find the word “Xmas,” as an abbreviation for Christmas, offensive? Many people do. You won’t find Xmas in church songbooks or even on many greeting cards. Xmas is popularly associated with a trend towards materialism, and sometimes the target of people who decry the emergence of general “holiday” observance instead of particular cultural and religious ritual. But the history of the word “Xmas” is actually more respectable — and fascinating — than you might suspect. First of all, the abbreviation predates by centuries its use in gaudy advertisements. It was first used in the mid 1500s. Xis the Greek letter “chi,” the initial letter in the wordΧριστός. And here’s the kicker:Χριστόςmeans “Christ.” X has been an acceptable representation of the word “Christ” for hundreds of years. This device is known as a Christogram. The mas in Xmas is the Old English word for “mass.” (The thought-provoking etymology of “mass” can be found here.) In the same vein, the dignified termsXpian andXtian have been used in place of the word “Christian.” As lovers of the alphabet, we are transfixed by the flexibility of “X.” The same letter can represent the sacred, the profane (“ rated X”), and the unknown (“ X-ray“). What does the “X” in Xbox stand for? Find out more about the 24th letter of the alphabet, here. What other holiday-related words would you like to know more about? Let us know, below. FSU gives students a peek at the past.(Knight Ridder Newspapers) Knight Ridder/Tribune News Service November 9, 2001 | Mitchell, Tia The Florida State University Union Gallery has been converted into a time machine. Current students who visited the gallery this week have been able to see how students lived and what they lived through in the university’s 150-year history. floridastatecollegenow.com florida state college The weeklong exhibit _ titled “Alumni: Celebrating 150 Years of Student Life” _ includes replicas of four dorm rooms, pictures and other memorabilia. It was unveiled earlier this week as part of the homecoming celebration at the university. Diane Greer, who oversees the exhibit, said it allows current students to get a “peek at the past.” “We just wanted them to see the kinds of things students might have had in their rooms at the time,” said Greer, who is also director of cultural resources. “I think dorm life is part of the history of the university that tends to be ignored.” The four dorm rooms are decorated to reflect the eras they represent _ the 1880s, 1901, the 1940s and the 1960s. In 1851, the Florida General Assembly established the Seminary West of the Suwannee River. The institution became known as the Florida State College in 1901, and in 1905 the Legislature turned it into a females-only institution. In 1947, the Florida State College for Women became coeducational and was renamed Florida State University. Sherill Ragans, associate vice president of student affairs, suggested replicating dorm rooms after seeing a similar display at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. The exhibit not only shows how student life has evolved but also points out campus traditions and newsworthy events. Copies of front pages of several issues of The New York Times are hung on the walls. The one closest to the door is a copy of the Sept. 12 issue, which has a picture of two smoking World Trade Center towers. Other copies displayed include coverage of the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and President John Kennedy, as well as Gen. Robert E. Lee’s Civil War-ending surrender. “It’s designed to show how historical events _ both national and world events _ have shaped and influenced the lives of students at FSU and its predecessor institutions through the years,” said junior public relations student Emily Hawker, who is a member of the committee that produced the exhibit. FSU alumna Kitty Hoffman, who will serve as one of the homecoming parade marshals, attended the opening reception Monday afternoon. Her story, told in the exhibit by a bucket of oranges, helps bring to life the university’s reputation for compassion for its students. During the 1933-1934 school year, Hoffman was a sophomore at the Florida State College for Women. The nation was in the middle of the Great Depression, and Hoffman’s family didn’t have enough money for her to return that spring. here florida state college Continue @ http://m.dictionary.com/hotword

Safe Home Remedies for Yellow Teeth

A shining set of teeth can make anyone appear more pleasant, more healthy and young looking. Also nothing makes a smile more beautiful than sparkling white teeth. This is why many people avoid smiling in public places as their teeth are not as shiny as they want it to be. Teeth may become yellow due to various reasons such as age, hereditary factors, improper dental hygiene, excessive consumption of tea and coffee, tobacco and cigarette. Even high doses of antibiotics along with some type of injury, climatic conditions, infection and improper metabolism can also contribute to discoloring of teeth. Often people go for professional treatment to remove the yellow tinge from their teeth but such dental treatments need time as well money. In case you wish to get rid of yellow teeth you can try some natural remedies. There are many kitchen ingredients which you can use to make your teeth look like pearl white and that too without any side effects. Sponsored links Here are top 10 home remedies for Yellow Teeth. 1. Baking Soda Baking soda is one of the best ingredients that you can use to get rid of your yellow teeth. You can make a whitening mouthwash with baking soda by mixing two tablespoon of baking soda with one cup of cold water. Now use this whitening mouthwash to rinse your mouth two to three times in a day. This remedy can easily correct minor yellow stains. At the same time you can also scrub your teeth gently for at least two minutes with diluted baking soda for sparkling teeth. Follow this remedy twice a week for the first week, and then follow it in every fifteen days. It is essential to note here that excess use of baking soda can strip your teeth of its natural enamel. 2. Strawberries Strawberries contain good amount of vitamin C, which help in making your teeth whiter. Take a few strawberries and grind them to make a paste. Now use this paste to rub your teeth gently. If done twice daily for a few weeks, the yellow tinge on your teeth will vanish. Another option is to mix the pulp of one strawberry with half a teaspoon of baking soda and then spread the mixture onto your teeth and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Finally rinse out your mouth and brush your teeth with toothpaste to get rid of any residue. 3. Lemon The bleaching property present in lemon can also be used to get rid of yellow teeth. In fact, gargling with lemon juice and scrubbing teeth with lemon peel is also one of the best ways to make your teeth white. Take a few drops of lemon juice and add some salt to it. Now apply this mixture on the stained teeth and rub the paste vigorously over your teeth and gums. Leave for a few minutes and then rinse your mouth properly with normal water. Follow this remedy twice daily for about two weeks to get rid of tartar and yellow tinge. 4. Apples Apple is a kind of crunchy fruit that can scrub your teeth like a toothbrush and make your teeth look whiter than before. Try to eat one or two apples daily to get rid of the yellow stain accumulated on your teeth. When eating an apple make sure to chew them properly so that the acidic nature of apple and the fiber rich rough flesh get ample time to work on your teeth and help to remove the yellow stain. Apart from apples, you can also eat other crunchy food items such as raw carrots, cucumbers and broccoli. 5. Holy Basil The leaves of holy basil have whitening properties and hence it can be used to make your teeth whiter. At the same time holy basil can also protect your teeth from gum problems such as pyorrhea. Take few leaves of holy basil and keep them in the sun for few hours. Once the holy basil leaves become dry you need to grind them to make some powder. Now mix this powder with your regular toothbrush and then use it to brush your teeth. Another option is to make a paste of holy basil leaves with mustard oil and then use it to clean your teeth. 6. Margosa You can also use margosa to enjoy white healthy teeth. You can use margosa twigs as a toothbrush to brush your teeth. Chewing margosa branches helps in tackling teeth problems and clears the yellowness from the teeth. At the same time you can use margosa oil and mix it with your regular toothpaste and then use it to brush your teeth. Due to the astringent and antiseptic properties, regular use of margosa oil also help to get rid of bad breath and dental cavities. Source : top10homeremedies.

Scientists Find Aggressive New HIV Strain Which Seems Confined To West Africa

Swedish scientists have identified a new strain of HIVthat appears to progress much faster than most previously identified variations of the virus. The new strain, known as A3/02, is a recombinant, meaning it is a cross between two previously identified HIV strains. Writing in the Journal of Infectious Diseases, Lund University researchers said that the infection moves from HIV to full-blown AIDS in about five years, nearly two- to two-and-a-half years faster than most previously known strains. So far the new infection seems confined to West Africa. But experts fear that recombinants are becoming more common and could start to spread globally, especially to highly mobile regions such as Europe and the United States. The researchers said recombinants develop faster than the "parental" strains they spring from, though fortunately, this latest strain seems treatable with existing drugs. An HIV diagnosis changes to AIDS when a person's white blood cell count dips below 200, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Phalguni Gupta, a professor of infectious diseases and microbiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Graduate Health, said that most clinicians also consider a diagnosis of AIDS when someone with HIV develops a serious infection such as pneumonia, cancer or a wasting syndrome characterized by severe weight loss, diarrhea and high fever. In poorer regions such as West Africa, tuberculosis is the leading cause of death among people with HIV. Gupta, however, said it was misleading to say that this new strain was the most aggressive form of AIDS yet known. "There are some HIV types here in the United States that take as little as two years to develop into AIDS," he noted. This information is particularly troubling in light of a new CDC report that found that since 2005, there has been a 48 percent increase in unprotected anal sex in the U.S. among men who have sex with men. Men who engage in risky sexual behavior are often unaware of their positive HIV status, the report found. Gupta said the new West African strain needs to be monitored to see if it transmits more readily than other types of HIV. This is a question the researchers haven't yet explored. Kanye West proclaims himself the most impactful artist of this generation and also claims he's more influential than Barack Obama but he can't even fill a 19,000 seat arena like Rihanna & Beyonce can. According tothe Kansas City Star, only 4,500 fans bought tickets to watch his show at 19,000 seat Sprint Centre Arena in Kansas on Tuesday December 3rd. KCS reports that during his set, Kanye said 'I don't always say the right things at the right time. I'm better at saying the wrong things at the wrong time.' Kansas City Star wrote: "Kanye almost certainly could have filled the Sprint Center 5 years ago. Tuesday’s poor attendance indicates how his scandalous love life, frequent impolite pronouncements and his gradual shift away from conventional hip-hop have alienated many of his fans.'His Yeezus tour is not doing well at all. Not only are people not turning like they used to, he's also been forced to cancel quite a few shows due to technical difficulties.

Man Gets Caught Manufacturing Fake Cough Syrup In His Toilet

A trader, Chijioke Nwagu, has been apprehended by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control for allegedly manufacturing and selling counterfeit drugs. According to NAFDAC, the suspect, who lives on Elemijaye Street, Ajamgbadi area of Lagos State, carries out the illegal manufacture in the toilet of his two-bedroom flat where he mixes chemicals in a 200-litre drum. Chijioke had been caught after one of his boys, Uzodinma Odoemena, was caught with fake drugs following an intelligence report and surveillance mounted at Alafia, Orile Iganmu, where Nwagu supplies counterfeit Tutolin with codeine cough syrup that he manufactures. Odoemena then led investigators to Nwagu’s house where it was discovered that Nwagu carries out the illegal manufacture in the toilet of his house by pouring different locally-manufactured cough syrup of reputable companies into 200 litres drum and after mixing them, he then dispenses them into empty bottles and labels it as Tutolin with codeine cough syrup. The Director-General of the agency, Dr. Paul Orhii said: In his house, we found: *.four cartons of Uniplex cough syrup, *.four rolls of Bancof cough expectorant, *.50 bottles of Dr Meyers’ Coflin Cough Linctus, *.1,500 bottles of Exiplon Epectorant, *.two cartons of Halfan tablet, *.200 litres drum, *.one carton of Dr Nando double 77 keys to power and empty containers of these drugs as well.” PUNCH Metrolearnt that the suspect’s wife, Jane, who was at the house, was also arrested by the agency. But the suspect explained that he did not plan on selling the goods in Nigeria, saying they were meant for export to Benin Republic. He said: “I bought the packaging material of Tutolin with codeine from one Chibuike in China and the product was meant to be supplied to Benin Republic. In the course of my business, I met one Chisom Onwudinjo, who came to my house to see how I manufacture my goods in my house. “He subsequently agreed to be my distributor and he also accepted that we will not sell the product here in Nigeria.” Another suspect, Ugbo Collins, who resides in Onitsha, Anambra State, was arrested for importing over 1,000 cartons of fake drugs worth over N54m into the country. The NAFDAC boss said, The agency intercepted a 20 feet container imported by NGOD’s Success Ventures. The importer fraudulently gave its name as Lamek’s Global Links Limited on the consignment bill purported to have originated from Pakistan, but investigations revealed the real name of the importer and that the goods came from China. Investigations revealed that Collins from Onitsha contacted one Larry Amah to clear the consignment for him. Amah in turn, sub-contracted the job to one Okey, an employee of Ocean Star Shipping Company. The container was impounded and counterfeit pharmaceuticals worth N54, 702, 500 were discovered in the container. Some of them include 348 cartons of Strepsil Tablets; 34 cartons of Augmentin Suspension, eight cartons of Disprin Tablet, 99 cartons of Septran Syrup and 20 cartons of Bonjela. We've been keeping you up to date on the various shenanigans of Gucci, but the federal prosecutor's news release shed more light on the incidents dating back to September-- around the time Gucci was going on his Twitter spree and had been dropped from Atlantic. "On September 12, 2013, Davis, who was a felon at the time, was found in possession of a firearm," the release said via CNN. "Then, just two days later, on September 14th, he again possessed a firearm different from the earlier gun. On both occasions, Davis displayed the loaded firearm, acted erratically, and made threats to individuals, including police and his attorney." Each firearm possession charge could result in a maximum sentence of 10 years and a fine of up to $250,000. We'll keep you updated as this unfolds. Source: Hotnewhiphop

“I'm older than him” Segun Arinze’s ex wife, Ann Njemanze, talks about her new husband

Segun Arinze’s ex wife and Nollywood actress Ann Njemanze (Domitilla) recently got married to a certain Silver Ojieson who is a lecturer. In a new interview with Leadership Newspaper, she talked about him, her new marriage and ex-husband Segun Arinze. Excerpts: *. What really happened in your previous marriage? I cannot tell what exactly happened but you see I remember when I was still in secondary school, I use to gather my friends in Gboko Benue State telling them that my bed will be made of iron and look like the ones we see in magazines and what have you. I had a queen thing in my head. But my ex was a lot older. He did not really give me all those sweet things that I fantasized about. I left my ex-lover because of the differences we had, at a time I found out I could not continue with the relationship so I had to opt out. *. Your husband seems so young and fresh, he’s younger than you are obviously? Ah, yes he is, with few years. My husband and I do not share up to 5 years difference and he is not bothered about it. *. Has he ever been married before? No, he’s never been married, no way. This is his last marriage in Jesus name. He is the only son of his parents too from Edo State. *. Do you regret your first marriage? Regret it? My daughter is taller and finer than I am. She is the headgirl of her school. In less than 2 weeks, she is going for a photo shoot. At 16, she has started earning money. She is writing for a magazine and you ask if I regret it? I thank him (Segun Arinze)!! Without him I would not have met my Silver. *. Are you not afraid that your marriage might crash again? No! I reject it. We have our differences, just like other couples do, but it is not enough to say, we no do again. Before we got married, we told ourselves that divorce and separation are no option.

Burna Boy Banned From UK For 15 Years After Escaping Parole

I never thought that Burna Boy has a bad side like this. I always saw him in a good light as a cool guy. Sometimes, talents aren’t just enough. Burna Boy is one of the most talented singers in Nigeria today but his “uncontrollable” character has cost a 15 years ban from the United Kingdom. ‘He can’t be told anything to do, he’s a big boy right now. He won’t just listen anymore, we are frustrated with his actions’.” his label mates told NET. Burna boy who is presently having issues with his label, Aristokrat, has not only moved out of the house provided for him by the label in Lekki Phase 1 but he has also extricated himself from them and now handles his career with a former label employee who now only answers to him (Burna). ‘He wants to be in more control of his career’, they further told the online portal. Well, Burn Boy’s ‘uncontrollable’ mannerism and persona didn’t just start yesterday; a few months ago he allegedly attacked and slapped a ticket attendant at the Silverbird cinema, Port Harcourt. Also, a while in the UK back in 2010, he was arrested and sent to jail by London Police for allegedly being part of a gang and stabbing someone to death. He was released after 11 months and given two months parole plus community service on the grounds of being of ‘good behaviour’, however, Burna allegedly disobeyed authorities and travelled back to Nigeria where he signed a record deal with Aristokrat. While attempting to later travel back to the UK a while later, he was arrested at the airport and deported to Nigeria and barred from the UK for the next 15 years.
